My thoughts on bullying

When we thinking of bullying we just imagine a big boy beating up a much smaller boy for his lunch money. Bullying has come along way now there are all sorts of ways to bully people whether its through physical violence, verbal assault, or cyber bullying. The problem with bullying is that people automatically protect the victim and shun the abuser with out ones asking themselves why that person is a bully. Many bullies have tough homes or come from bad neighborhoods where being mean and aggressive is a necessity in order to have a safe lifestyle. A person who is a bully can also have many underlying problems due to an abusive household. I say that next time we catch someone bullying another person we try to find a way to help both the aggressor and the victim because if we just punish the bullies with out rehabilitating them then we are not really finding a solution to the problem but simply directing somewhere else.

my favorite movie

Lets talk movies. Everyone has a movie that they love above all others for me its Rush Hour 3 starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. This particular movie is an amazing comedy jam packed with tons of action scenes. One of the things that calls my attention from this movie is the fight scenes, I mean we all know Jackie Chan is a brilliant martial artist from his previous works, but in Rush hour his fight scenes seem so much more realistic he doesn’t fight a million people all at once the fights are small with talented individuals going at it. Although this movie contains actions the characters still find a way to make it funny making jokes while in fights and doing things that just make the audience laugh. This movie also has an amazing setting since most of it occurs in Paris, France you have scenes at the Eiffel tower and clubs in Paris it just contributes to the over all appeal of the movie.

The Future

I believe that 100 years from now the future will hold awesome machinery and technology that will allow us to instantly teleport across the planet go where ever we want in a matter of seconds. I think that in the future calling someone will pop up a little holographic version of that person that you can interact with. In the future there will be dishes that instantly pop up what ever food you are thinking of and cups that will fill up with what ever drinks you please. In the future we will have artificial intelligence  servants like Iron Man's Jarvis that will help us by giving us information about anything we ask. In the future people will have the ability to insert a camera right into their eyes so that we can capture any moment with the exact clarity of our eyes(my favorite theory). In the future we will have found a way to live underwater and there will be entire societies in the ocean and freeway ramps will go into the water and cars will adapt to all terrains. In the future video games and movies will be virtual realities were the people will be the lead characters and experience the fantasy world. In the future cities will have machines that can control the weather so that they can make it rain or snow any time they want.

One Time I Laughed Really Really Hard

I laughed extremely hard the day i went to go see Kevin Harts stand up comedy routine. The guys is phenomenal he had everyone in the room busting up for the entire two hours that he was up on stage. I had watched some of his videos so i knew some of the material that he was going to say but hearing it from him in person made it so much funnier. One of my favorite kevin Hart jokes is the one where he defines his dad as a real Step dad because his mom did not allow him to go past the first step on the porch. I also really like the story of when his dad took him swimming and on the car ride home there was a lot of awkward silence and when his dad finally spoke up he said " i almost lost you today" i don't know why but picturing that scene made me laugh really really hard.

My Review of Modern Times

The movie modern times was an amazing piece of art i absolutely loved it. The movie is a silent film and i usually don't go for silent movies because i find them to be very boring but charlie Chaplin was a comical genius this movie kept me entertained the entire time with out the use of words a feat that is very difficult to accomplish in our modern society. The movie was a roller coaster of emotions from heart breaking scenes to silly scenes but the overall flow of the film was not disrupted it was a very well made movie. One of the things that caught my attention about this movie was that Chaplin decided to go with a happy ending, in our times this seems like a normal and logical thing to do everyone loves a happy ending, but around the time this movie was created the depression had already sucked the joy out of people and seeing a happy ending gave the people hope especially when at the end of the movie the little tramp gives his final message to the world "Just Smile". Modern times is also filled with many message and ideas from the mind of charlie Chaplin through this movie we get a feel for the type of person that he was and his views on things like the police and factory owners. There is lots of meaning behind this film and is a cinematic classic, Two thumbs up.
